1. Acceptance and authority
By installing or using Carryover in the public preview, you confirm that you are authorized to act for the monday account and to select the source and destination data involved in the handoff. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
2. What Carryover provides
Carryover is a narrow monday.com app that compares supported source and destination schemas, captures an available bounded activity snapshot, presents explicit mappings and omissions, performs an operator-confirmed move when authorized, rereads the destination, and writes a native receipt only after verification.
Carryover does not transfer monday’s native Activity Log, guarantee a complete historical record, provide immutable or legal-grade evidence, replace backup software, certify compliance, or support data and workflows outside the published matrix.
3. Your responsibilities
- Use Carryover only with data and boards you are authorized to access and modify.
- Review the exact destination, mappings, omissions, activity bounds, and expiry before confirming.
- Inspect native monday state before retrying an indeterminate or failed operation.
- Do not use Carryover for illegal activity, unauthorized access, high-risk safety decisions, or as the sole system of record.
- Maintain appropriate monday account access controls, backups, and administrator oversight.
4. Preview and future fees
The current public preview does not charge a Carryover fee. Future Marketplace plans, trial terms, billing intervals, and included limits will be shown before any paid subscription begins. These terms do not authorize a charge, and no preview use guarantees future pricing or availability.
5. Data and privacy
The Carryover privacy policy describes the selected monday data processed for a handoff, the content-free backend boundary, native receipt, retention, deletion, and support-data rules. You remain responsible for deciding whether destination users should receive the source context included in the receipt.
6. Changes, suspension, and termination
The preview may change, pause, or end while safety, platform, or Marketplace requirements are being resolved. Carryover may disable move or receipt authorization to prevent suspected unauthorized, inconsistent, or unsafe behavior. Disabling or uninstalling Carryover does not automatically reverse a native monday move or delete receipts already written in the customer account.
You may stop using and uninstall Carryover at any time. Applicable tenant-linked Carryover metadata is handled as described in the privacy policy; customer-controlled native monday content remains subject to monday’s tools and terms.
7. monday.com and third-party services
Carryover depends on monday.com APIs, app hosting, permissions, Activity Log, and native update behavior. monday.com is a separate provider with its own terms, availability, and recovery tools. Carryover is independent and is not endorsed by monday.com.
8. Disclaimers and limits
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the public preview is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every workflow. Carryover’s verification covers only the exact supported checks displayed for the command.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Carryover and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, or loss of data arising from preview use. Any final paid-service liability cap and mandatory consumer rights will be stated in legally reviewed Marketplace terms before charges begin.
9. Contact and communications
Questions about these terms may be sent to me@bennetthilberg.com. Carryover may contact a user when needed to respond to that user’s support request, address a security or service incident, or administer an active preview. App access will not be used for unsolicited marketing. Any optional future marketing communication will require a separate disclosed choice.
10. Changes to these terms
Material changes will be dated on this page and, where required, presented before continued use. The final responsible legal entity, governing law, dispute process, and Marketplace billing terms remain publication blockers for this working draft.
